24 Clubs from 15 Countries Selected for 2016 World Club Championship
Los Angeles (April 22, 2016) -The World Club Championship Committee has selected 24 clubs from 15 countries from GOLF Magazine’s 2015-2016 Top 100 Courses in the World list to participate in the December 4-9, 2016 Championship at Ayodhya Links just outside Bangkok, Thailand.
Each club will be represented by their club champion and a partner of their choice with a handicap as of July 2016 of 3 or better.
Competitors and patrons will arrive on Saturday, December 3 and be welcomed at a reception at the Centara Grand, the tournament’s official hotel. The next day, Ayodhya Links hosts the Merrins-Crow Plate Tournament followed by a Celebratory Dinner. Monday will be an opportunity to see important historical sites and modern Bangkok by day and night. Tuesday is a day of practice and the Opening Ceremony. Championship competition will be Wednesday and Thursday with the finals and Closing Ceremony on Friday.
