The 2017 British Senior Open
Past World Club Championship competitors brave the elements
Porthcawl (August 1, 2017) - While Bernhard Langer won the Senior Open at Royal Porthcawl with another great display of controlled shotmaking and excellent scoring under tough conditions, two past World Club Championship competitors did themselves proud. Chip Lutz, who partnered with Chris Lang representing Pine Valley Golf Club in the inaugural World Club Championship in 2002, made the cut and finished very respectably. As did two-time World Club Championship player Randy Haag from the Olympic Club. Randy and his partner Korey Storer were runners up in the 2015 World Club Championship played at Nine Bridges on Jeju Island in South Korea, and also in 2016, played at Ayodhya Links, Thailand. Randy also made the cut and battled all four days. Congratulations from the World Club Championship family.
