Gordon Dalgleish Joins World Club Championship Committee

Los Angeles, California (October 22, 2012) - The World Club Championship Committee is pleased to welcome its newest member Gordon Dalgleish. Gordon has been a strong supporter of the Championship since its inauguration, attending most of the events over the past 10 years.

Born and raised in Helensburgh, Scotland, Gordon headed to the United States on a Mark H. McCormack scholarship to the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. He now makes his home in North Carolina but maintains his roots in Scotland.

Gordon is a member of the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C. and also a member at Merion Golf Club, Caves Valley, Kinloch Golf Club and the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews.

As an advocate for amateur golf, Gordon sat on the Board of Directors for the American Junior Golf Association from 1991 – 2000, is a current member and has been since 2006 of the Board of Directors at Caves Valley GC, Owings Mills, MD, was the Chinese Amateur Golf Champion in 1995, and is the current President & Co-Founder of PerryGolf which began in 1984.
